Under no circumstances should anyone go fly without getting clearance from Jeff or "approved" local first. Also, do not contact the land owner since there are serious health issues in the family and they do not want to be disturbed. Playing by the rules will get this great easy-to-topland site available for paraglider pilots--blow it by disregarding the protocol could blow it for everyone forever.
Flying by anyone at the new Dunn site in Alabama MUST be with prior notification AND accompanied by
one of the locals in this initial period of opening the site. A paraglider pilot has already shown
up and flown without a local showing the site and getting beta at the site. My only interest is
seeing to it that both HG's and PG's can fly in harmony since I believe this will be potentially
a great site for both.
THIS IS ON PRIVATE PROPERTY AND YOU MUST OBEY THE RULES. Do not push it or
conditions either. Jeff Wilson is the primary contact for the site and the one who put all the effort
into opening it. We've seen to many examples of HG sites being restricted from PG's--let's make an
effort to see to it that this does not happen here!
